| Two races of note this Sunday.
If you are going to Dartmoor for the Tavy 7 then you'll already have your number tucked away at home. If not, unlucky! The race limit of 750 was reached a week or so ago and those wishing to do this top 7 miler will have got their entries in early. Always a favorite with Carn Runners and rightly so. Midday start on the edge of the Moor at Whichurch Down. The route is gently uphill for the first 2 and a half miles. Conserve a bit of energy as it's fast after that until just after the 4 mile point where the only serious hill is encountered. At the top, it's all flat and downhill to the finish. Forecast to be cold, wet and windy so standby for disappointment if you were hoping for a PB.
The first staging of the Mounts Bay Rememberance Day Run takes place at Marazion. Four and a bit miles along the beach to PZ and back. Should be a great run and right on your doorstep. For those who need their Sunday long run 'fix' you could always do the Mounts Bay 10K route afterwards to make up the miles! Give it a go and give the organisers the support they need and perhaps it'll become an annual race.
Happy Racing!!!!!!
