| Marshals/helpers are requested to help for the Eden marathon and half marathon on Sunday 11th October. We need approximately 100 marshalls plus helpers for the start/finish; water stations; set up and clear up as well as bag packing and numerous other jobs before the event; including cycle teams to lead and sweep the course. This is a huge job, particularly as this is the first year – so we’d be massively grateful if you and/or a friend/relative could offer some time.
It would be preferable if available for marshalling that you can commit for the entire day i.e. 8am until possibly 6pm to set up and help clear up; however any help would be greatly received. We also need to know if you have transport (bike/car or both as some marshall points are off road and not accessible by car), and if you’re over 18 (under 18’s can help but not on single marshall spots).
