The weather behaved itself as three groups gave the new route a decent time trial and virually all agreed that particularly the finish was much better than the old route and could well give rise to some hard fought battles as runners entered the last 200 metres or so. The change at Leedstown should make it a bit safer for runners and easier for the marshals to control.

I'm sure we can expect a good field for this inaugral running and again I'm sure we can arrange another run if anyone wants to give it the once over.
