Meet The Runner
Dairy milk chocolate bar goes down very well.
I have limited knowledge on this so probably need some help getting a good pair of trainers for myself.
You will be looked after at the club as everyone is so supportive.
I have always kept myself fit by going out for a run, but I got the bug last summer and I haven’t looked back. This led to me completing the Truro Half Marathon and later competing for the club at the Falmouth Mob Match.
I saw a poster in my local club and then followed on social media. I was then able to speak to a committee member.
What I enjoy the most is the positive vibes in the club as everyone is there for each other and offer so much support. This is great for new comers finding their feet and working out where they want to go with their running.
Got a favourite?: I have taken part in 2 races so far with the club (3 including the Mob Match). Storm Force 10 and Newquay 10k. I am looking forward to taking on Truro Half Marathon again in September.
I am glad that I have found Carn Runners as it has really helped with my overall fitness and wanting to better myself.
I referee rugby most Saturdays and the club/additional training has made me feel better about my game.
I have to say that I really enjoyed the track session, but, my favourites are the Winter Warmer and the Blossom Blast.
