Trevithick 12k Road Race

Trevithick 12k

First run in 1998 as the Blaythorne 10 with just 80 participants, the event quickly became a firm favourite on the Cornish racing calendar. For many years, it was known as the Storm Force 10, a challenging 10-mile race that marked the start of the Grand Prix season.

Today it has evolved into the Trevithick 12k — a shorter but equally exciting and demanding 12k race. Now attracting over 500 runners, it proudly opens the Cornish Grand Prix Road Racing Series each year. Organised by Carn Runners, the race is the club’s annual highlight, showcasing the dedication and hard work of its members.

Race Date: 18th January 2026

Race HQ: Camborne Science & International Academy
