Carn Runners at the Marazion 10K
The Marazion 10K is always a popular fixture on the Cornish Grand Prix calendar, and this year Carn Runners turned out in force with an incredible 19 members lining up to take on the coastal challenge.
Fantastic Team Effort
The race, known for its scenic route and lively atmosphere, was the perfect backdrop for Carn Runners to show strength in numbers. From the first stride to the final finishers, the club spirit was on full display, with encouragement and cheers flowing throughout the afternoon.
Podium Success
There were some standout performances to celebrate:
- Pete stormed through the course to take 1st in his age group, a brilliant result on a competitive day.
- Glynn delivered another strong race, securing 2nd place in his age group and adding another podium finish to his impressive season.
Personal Bests for Tony, Briana, Charmaine and James
Alongside the age group successes, it was a night of personal triumphs too. Tony, Briana, Charmaine and James (on his Birthday!) ran superbly to set new personal bests, showing the progress that comes from consistent training and determination.
A Race to Remember
With 19 yellow and blue vests out on the course, the Marazion 10K had a true Carn Runners presence. The mix of podiums, PBs, and team camaraderie made it another brilliant outing for the club.
