On Wednesday, 7th May 2025, the picturesque Boconnoc Estate near Lostwithiel hosted the annual Boconnoc 5-Mile Race, a highlight in the Cornish Multi-Terrain Race Series. Eleven members of Carn Runners participated, showcasing the club’s strength and enthusiasm.
The race, organised by East Cornwall Harriers, featured a challenging course comprising unmade paths, woodland trails, and road sections through the stunning estate grounds.
Among the standout performances:
- Janet Watson secured 1st place in her age category, demonstrating exceptional endurance and determination.
- Peter achieved a commendable 3rd place in his age group, reflecting consistent training and commitment.
- Dennis also clinched 1st place in his age category, adding to his impressive list of accolades.
The collective effort and achievements of all participating Carn Runners underscore the club’s dedication to excellence and camaraderie. Congratulations to everyone who took part and represented the club with pride!
