On a bright and breezy weekend morning, Carn Runners’ members Emma, Dawn, and Donna embarked on an invigorating 8-mile run, weaving through the serene woodlands of Tehidy Country Park and extending along the stunning South West Coast Path to Godrevy.

Tehidy Country Park, encompassing over 250 acres of peaceful woods and lakes, offers a network of trails that provided the trio with a tranquil start to their run. The park’s diverse landscapes, from shaded glades to open clearings, set the tone for a refreshing journey.

Transitioning from the woodland, the runners joined the South West Coast Path, renowned for its dramatic cliffs and panoramic sea views. The route towards Godrevy is particularly scenic, featuring rugged coastlines and the iconic Godrevy Lighthouse standing sentinel offshore.

This 8-mile route, combining the lush greenery of Tehidy with the expansive coastal vistas leading to Godrevy, exemplifies the diverse terrains Cornwall has to offer. It’s a favourite among local runners seeking both challenge and inspiration.

Well done to Emma, Dawn, and Donna for making the most of a beautiful day and embracing the natural beauty that surrounds us.
