Carn Runners’ Unofficial Marathon: Lanner to Newlyn Adventure
On Sunday, 27th April 2025, while fellow Carn Runners were tackling the official London Marathon, Donna and Bex embarked on their own marathon journey from Lanner to Newlyn. Covering the full 26.2 miles, they were joined by clubmates Mark, Emma, Rob, Steven, Peter, and Damelza at various points along the route, providing encouragement and camaraderie.
The route presented its own set of challenges, but the support from fellow runners and the shared determination made the experience memorable. This unofficial marathon exemplifies the spirit of Carn Runners: dedication, mutual support, and a love for running.
