A small but mighty group of Carn Runners headed to the Gribbin 10K this week, enjoying a fantastic evening of racing on one of Cornwall’s most scenic routes.

The Carnie trio took on the challenge in ideal conditions, with a lovely evening providing perfect weather for running.

A Stunning Cornish Route

The Gribbin 10K is well known for its beautiful coastal scenery and challenging terrain. Runners are rewarded with spectacular views, but they certainly have to earn them, with plenty of undulations and testing sections along the way.

It’s the kind of race that combines everything runners love about Cornwall — great scenery, a friendly atmosphere and a course that keeps you working from start to finish.

Strong Running from the Carn Crew

All three Carn runners put in excellent performances, tackling the route with determination and flying the club colours proudly.

Local races like the Gribbin 10K always attract a strong field, making every finish a great achievement.

Sally Tops the Age Group

The standout result of the evening came from Sally, who produced another fantastic performance to secure 1st place in her age category.

Age group wins are always something to celebrate, and Sally continues to demonstrate remarkable consistency across a wide range of events.

It’s a brilliant achievement and a well-deserved reward for a strong run.

A Great Evening of Racing

With beautiful weather, stunning views and another podium finish for the club, the Gribbin 10K proved to be a fantastic evening out for Carn Runners.

Huge well done to all three runners for representing the club so well, and congratulations once again to Sally on her age group victory 👏💙💛
