The Carn vests were out on display again on Saturday 17th May as Janet and Dennis headed to Ivybridge for a cracking evening of racing. With more than 600 runners lining up, the atmosphere was buzzing under clear skies—a perfect setting for a springtime 10K.
The course itself offered just enough of a challenge, with one short hill to test the legs before a fast, flowing finish. Janet and Dennis made the most of the pace-friendly route and the supportive crowd, flying the flag for Carn Runners with pride.
Post-race? A well-earned pint of Guinness and some sausage and chips in the clubhouse hit the spot. Running, sunshine, and a pub finish—what more could you ask for?
