Janet Wins the Cornwall Team Spirit Award
We’re incredibly proud to share that Janet has been awarded the Team Spirit Award, a countywide honour recognising individuals who go above and beyond to promote running in Cornwall. This award is voted on by running clubs across the county, making it a truly special and well-earned achievement.
Janet’s impact stretches far beyond her own running. As Secretary for the Cornwall Road Running Group (CRRRG), she plays a vital role in keeping the county’s running scene organised, inclusive, and thriving. From coordinating the annual trophy presentations to supporting the smooth running of events throughout the year, her work behind the scenes ensures that clubs and runners across Cornwall benefit from a well-connected, well-supported community.
Her dedication doesn’t stop there. Janet continues to take part in events and activities across the county, always representing both Carn Runners and the wider running community with energy, positivity, and genuine enthusiasm for the sport.
This award is a fitting recognition of everything she brings to running in Cornwall — her time, her effort, her commitment, and above all, her spirit.
