Truro Trail Race – A Strong Finish to the MTRS Series
The MTRS trail season wrapped up in true Cornish style this weekend with the Truro Trail Race, and Carn Runners showed up in force, with ten members lacing up to take on the final challenge of the series.
The course offered everything we’ve come to expect from the MTRS—woodland paths, technical climbs, and plenty of mud to make things interesting. It was a true test of trail strength, made even better by the buzzing atmosphere and the sense of accomplishment that comes with reaching the series finale.
Our yellow and blue crew tackled it with determination and spirit, pushing through the final miles of what’s been a brilliant and challenging season of off-road racing. For some, it was the final event to complete their MTRS tally; for others, just another great day out with the club.
Huge well done to everyone who took part—not just in Truro, but throughout the whole series. Your efforts on hills, mud, and trail are what Carn Runners is all about.
