Fourteen races into the 2026 Cornwall Grand Prix, Carn Runners have plenty to celebrate. Our women’s team stands seventh on 199 points and our men’s team eighth on 176 in the series table after the Marazion 10K. Three Carn women are inside the overall top 30, while two members hold particularly impressive age-category positions: Kerry Kilford is second in the women’s 45–49 table, and Tommy Polglase leads the men’s 75–79 standings.
These are Grand Prix standings, earned across the series, rather than finishing positions from one race. Marazion itself brought a terrific turnout of 21 Carnies, with age-group wins and personal bests among the highlights. You can enjoy those race-day stories in our Marazion 10K report.
Two teams competing well across Cornwall
Seventh place for our women puts Carn immediately behind Falmouth Running Club: just three points separate the teams, 199 to 202. Carn added 16 team points at Marazion, another contribution to a strong season-long total.
Our men added 15 points at Marazion and sit eighth on 176. Launceston Road Runners are listed ninth on the same points total. It is an encouraging position for Carn’s men and a reminder that every team contribution across the calendar matters.
Those standings also put the Marazion race-day results in perspective. Our women’s teams finished sixth and 17th at the 10K, and our men’s team finished eighth. The Grand Prix table tells the bigger story: members have kept representing Carn and contributing points over many races, not just on one Sunday.
Three Carn women in the overall top 30
Having three runners among the overall women’s top 30 is a result worth recognising. Kerry Kilford leads Carn’s women in 18th place with 3,849 points from nine completed races. Elena Trevethick is 23rd on 3,818 points from 12 races, and Olivia Pellowe is 27th on 3,750 points from nine. These are positions in the wider women’s Grand Prix table, not simply rankings within our club.

The age-category table adds another reason to cheer. Kerry sits second in the women’s 45–49 standings with 1,588 category points, while Olivia is fifth in the same category on 1,569. Two Carnies in the top five of one category, alongside those strong overall places, shows just how well they have raced across the series.
Strong overall places and a category leader for Carn’s men
James Milliner-Woodcock is Carn’s highest-placed man in the overall table, 43rd with 3,601 points from eight completed races. Glynn Davis follows in 48th on 3,531, with Taylor Hosking 54th on 3,453. Together, they give Carn three men inside the overall top 55.

Tommy’s overall placing is only part of his story. He leads the men’s 75–79 Grand Prix category with the maximum 1,600 points from his best eight races. Peter Drew is fifth in that category on 1,380 points from seven races. It is wonderful to see Carn represented so strongly in both the overall and age-category tables.
Every race helps build the picture
The individual overall and age-category scores count each runner’s best eight events, rather than adding every race they complete. Team scores use a different measure: the best 15 events. Overall points and age-category points are separate scores, so they should not be compared directly.
