Sunday Social 7-Miler – Camborne, Kehelland and Tehidy Trails
This week’s Sunday Social saw Dawn, Donna, and Charmaine take on a relaxed 7-mile route, starting in Camborne, winding through the peaceful village of Kehelland, and finishing with a scenic loop through the leafy trails of Tehidy.
A Route Made for Sunday Running
The route offered a little bit of everything—quiet lanes, open views, and plenty of shaded sections through Tehidy’s woodland paths. It was a gentle run in perfect Sunday Social style: steady pace, relaxed conversation, and no rush to get the miles done.
Post-Run Treats and a Chance Meeting
After the run, the trio headed to the café for well-earned refreshments—where they bumped into Pete, who had been out on his own run that morning.
Moments like this are what make the club so special: different runs, different routes, but always a chance to connect and share the joy of being active.
Why Sunday Socials Are a Carn Runners Favourite
These Sunday sessions aren’t about pushing limits or chasing times—they’re about friendship, fitness, and enjoying the journey. Whether you’re training for an event, getting back into running, or just looking for a friendly group to share a few miles with, the Sunday Social is the perfect way to start your day.
Well done to Dawn, Donna and Charmaine for another beautiful Sunday outing, and to Pete for putting in his own miles before joining the post-run catch-up. Here’s to many more sunny, shady, and sociable Sunday runs around our local favourites.
