Race-day photos don’t always go exactly to plan… and the Newquay 10K was a classic case of that.

A few Carn Runners did manage to grab a start line photo, but apologies to those missing β€” it turns out the queue for the loos was the real pre-race challenge of the morning! πŸš»πŸ˜„

That aside, it was a great day of racing in Newquay, with Carn Runners once again well represented and putting in some strong performances.

Carn Runners on the Start Line

Despite not everyone making it into the photo, the Carn colours πŸ’™πŸ’› were very much out in force. Spirits were high, nerves were settled (eventually), and runners lined up ready to take on the 10K.

As ever, it was great to see the mix of experience and ability, with everyone supporting one another and getting stuck in β€” exactly what club race days are all about.

Age Group Podium Success πŸ†

A special well done goes to Peter Drew, who finished 2nd in his age group β€” a fantastic result and thoroughly deserved πŸ‘

Another cracking performance to add to a strong club showing on the day.

Well Done, Everyone πŸ‘

From pre-race logistics (and loo queues!) to crossing the finish line, the Newquay 10K delivered another enjoyable race day for Carn Runners.

Well done to everyone who took part and represented the club β€” great running, great support, and another reminder of why racing together is always better πŸ’™πŸ’›
