Carn Runners were out in force at the Magnificent 7 in Saltash, enjoying another fantastic day of racing, team spirit and podium success.
With a brilliant club turnout and runners competing across the field, the Carn colours were impossible to miss as members took on this popular event.
A Fantastic Club Turnout
There’s always something special about seeing a strong turnout from the club at local races, and the Magnificent 7 was no exception.
From experienced racers chasing podium places to runners simply enjoying another great day out, everyone played their part in making it another memorable event for Carn Runners.
The support, encouragement and camaraderie on display perfectly reflected what the club is all about.
Age Category Success
The day brought plenty to celebrate, with three Carn Runners stepping onto the podium after outstanding performances.
🏆 Kerry claimed an impressive age category award.
🏆 Sally continued her remarkable run of form by also securing an age category prize.
🏆 Glynn completed the trio, adding another age category award for the club.
Three podium finishes at one event is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to the strength and depth of running throughout the club.
Flying the Flag as a Team
The individual performances were excellent, but there was another achievement worth celebrating.
Thanks to the fantastic turnout, Carn Runners successfully qualified both a men’s team and a women’s team in the team competition.
While running can often feel like an individual sport, moments like these remind us that every runner contributes to the club’s success.
Whether battling for podium places or simply crossing the finish line, every performance helped keep the Carn colours flying high.
