Carn Runners were back racing across the Devon border as Dennis and Janet took on the Otter Rail and River Run, another popular event on the South West running calendar.
With beautiful scenery, a welcoming atmosphere and a varied route, the race once again provided a fantastic day out for our travelling Carnies.
Another Devon Adventure
The Otter Rail and River Run offers runners the chance to enjoy some of Devon’s picturesque countryside, following a scenic route alongside rivers and former railway lines.
It’s an event that combines stunning surroundings with an enjoyable challenge, making it a firm favourite for many runners.
Dennis and Janet proudly represented the Carn colours, continuing what has been a busy season of racing both in Cornwall and beyond.
Dennis Does It Again
If there’s one thing becoming increasingly familiar this season, it’s seeing Dennis standing on the podium!
Continuing his outstanding run of form, Dennis once again picked up an age category prize, adding another trophy to what is becoming an impressive collection.
His consistency throughout the year has been remarkable, and this latest success is another well-deserved reward for all the hard work he’s put into his training and racing.
Another Strong Performance from Janet
Joining Dennis on the start line was Janet, who also enjoyed another fantastic run.
Janet has been a familiar face at races across Cornwall and Devon this year, proudly flying the Carn flag wherever she competes.
Her commitment, enthusiasm and willingness to travel for events continue to make her a fantastic ambassador for the club.
