Sunday Social Run – From Hayle to Carbis Bay and Back Again

This Sunday’s social run served up the perfect mix of distance, scenery, and club spirit. Starting at 9:30am from Hayle Park, a strong group of Carn Runners headed out on a scenic 10-mile loop taking in some of West Cornwall’s most beautiful spots.

The route led out towards Lelant, across the Towans with views stretching along the coast in front of the golf course, before climbing steadily up to Carbis Bay. After taking in the views, it was a mix of road and trail back—mostly road overall, with around 2 miles of off-road sections thrown in to keep things interesting.

A solid mix of steady hills, smooth tarmac, and good banter kept the miles ticking by. Just another example of the great team spirit we love seeing on these Sunday outings.

A brilliant route, fantastic company, and plenty of post-run smiles—what better way to wrap up the weekend?
