Rame Head Run – Scenic, Sunny and Seriously Tough

This weekend saw Carn Runners heading east for the breathtaking Rame Head Run, and what a challenge it was! With glorious sunshine overhead and one of Cornwall’s toughest coastal courses underfoot, our runners put in brilliant efforts at every distance.

Sarah took on a hilly 10.5K, describing the run as tough but stunning—which perfectly sums up the Rame experience. Jan tackled two loops, while Tony went all in and completed the full marathon distance, grinding out four laps and conquering a huge 3,776 ft of elevation. A truly epic effort on a course not known for giving anything away easily!

From steep climbs to dramatic sea views, this race is as beautiful as it is brutal—and our yellow and blue vests stood out in style under the summer sun.

Massive well done to Tony, Sarah, and Jan for taking it on with grit, determination, and a smile. Another unforgettable day out for the club!
