Cornwall Grand Prix 2025: Standings After Race 7 – Magnificent 7 🔥📈
We’ve now hit the halfway mark in the 2025 Cornwall Grand Prix – a 14-race series bringing together clubs and runners from across the county to compete in some of Cornwall’s best and toughest races.
Race 7 – the Magnificent 7, hosted by Tamar Trotters, delivered hills, heat, and high effort over a testing 7-mile course. As the mid-series milestone, it’s shaken up the leaderboards and added fresh momentum to the competition.
So, how are things shaping up?
- Several individual age categories are now tightly contested, with just a few points between top spots
- Some clubs are starting to emerge as clear team contenders, while others are climbing thanks to strong attendance
- Runners are now focusing on the all-important 7-race minimum needed to qualify for end-of-season rankings
For Carn Runners, it was a proud showing – including age group wins for Glynn and Tommy, boosting both their individual totals and our club’s overall standing.

With 7 more races to go, everything’s still to play for. Whether you’re chasing category points, going for the full series, or just enjoying racing with your clubmates – the second half of the season is shaping up to be just as exciting.
