This past weekend saw Carn Runners out enjoying the miles in true community spirit, making the most of the spring sunshine and stunning local scenery.
Saturday kicked off with a refreshing 5-mile coastal run—perfect views, steady effort, and great company. But the running didn’t stop there. Sunday was a longer social run from Croust hut, then across to Lanner, Mount Ambrose then tram track to Portreath stretched across 2.5 hours, with several members dipping in and out along the way to make it their own.
Among the crew enjoying the miles were Dawn, Donna, Emma, Mike, Rob, Peter, Eleanor, Steven, and Mark. Whether tackling the full distance or joining for a few miles, it was another reminder of how powerful group support can be—miles feel shorter when shared.
If you’re ever in the mood for a relaxed weekend outing with good people and flexible distance, our informal social runs are a great way to get involved. Keep an eye on our channels to see what’s coming up next!
