On Sunday, 11th May 2025, Carn Runners embarked on a delightful 9.5-mile social run, weaving through some of Cornwall’s most picturesque landscapes. The route commenced in Portreath, leading the group through tranquil lanes to Kehelland, the serene Menadarva Valley, the expansive Tehidy Country Park, and the enchanting Illogan Woods.

This run was particularly special as the club warmly welcomed new member Paul, who joined the weekend group for the first time. The varied terrain offered a mix of gentle inclines and flat stretches, providing both a challenge and an opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of the region.

Tehidy Country Park, the largest area of woodland in West Cornwall, boasts over 9 miles of paths and 250 acres of peaceful woods and lakes. Managed by Cornwall Council, it offers a haven for wildlife and a tranquil setting for outdoor activities.

Illogan Woods, with its lush greenery and winding trails, added a touch of magic to the run, making it a memorable experience for all participants.

Well done to everyone who took part, and a warm welcome to Paul—here’s to many more runs together!
