February may be the shortest month of the year, but it’s been another busy one for Carn Runners. From muddy trail races and tough road events to social runs and club members travelling further afield to race, it’s been great to see the Carn colours out across Cornwall and beyond.

Antony & Eleanor Shine at the Tehidy Twilight Run Despite Brutal Conditions

PBs and Proud Moments at the Exeter First Chance 10K 💙💛
Carn Runners made a strong start to the racing year at the Exeter First Chance 10K, with brilliant performances across the board and some very proud moments along the way. Known for being a fast and flat course, this early-season race is ideal for testing winter training — and our runners certainly did just that.
Parkrun Smiles & Woodland Miles – A Proper Carn Weekend 💙💛
It was another brilliant weekend for Carn Runners, with plenty of miles covered, smiles shared and a little bit of adventure thrown in for good measure. Newquay 10K – A Strong Showing (Despite the Toilet Queue!) 💙💛
Race-day photos don’t always go exactly to plan… and the Newquay 10K was a classic case of that. A few Carn Runners did manage to grab a start line photo, but apologies to those missing — it turns out the queue for the loos was the real pre-race challenge of the morning! 🚻😄 That aside,
Looking Ahead to Spring Miles
As we head towards spring, the race calendar continues to build and there are plenty more miles, events and adventures ahead for Carn Runners. Whether it’s local races, club socials or runners chasing personal goals, it’s always fantastic to see members supporting each other and representing the club.
