Weekend Socials: From Hayle Views to St Ives Vibes 🏃♀️☀️
This weekend saw Carn Runners out in full force, embracing the sunshine, racking up the miles, and making memories on the move.
Saturday Social – Camborne to Hayle via Gwinear (8 miles-ish)
Saturday brought blue skies and easy-going vibes as the crew headed out from Camborne to Hayle, taking in a scenic route via Gwinear. Around 8 miles of steady miles, great conversation, and a well-earned reward at the finish line.

Sunday Social – Camborne to (Nearly) St Ives – 22+ Miles
Sunday was a different beast – a long-distance leg-stretcher covering over 22 miles from Camborne towards the coast and on to the edge of St Ives.
“Sunday Social Run to St Ives (nearly)… started slightly overcast and perfect but it then hotted up.”
With coastal paths, rolling terrain, and rising temperatures, this was a true test of stamina. Huge shoutout to Steven Thomas and Demelza Martin for joining the crew at both ends of the route to clock their own mileage.

Now it’s taper time for Donna Brooks, Bex Martin, and co. – well deserved after this weekend’s epic effort!
On another Sunday adventure, a group of Carnies took to the paths around Helston for a social run of their own. Dawn, Donna, Emma, Peter, Steve, and Bex made the most of the morning, clocking up some quality miles and enjoying the fresh air together. Just another example of the club spirit shining through across Cornwall!
