Carn Runners were back at Penrose Parkrun this weekend, and it was one to remember! From personal milestones to shared moments, it perfectly captured the spirit of what parkrun—and our club—is all about.
Mike hit a huge achievement as he crossed the finish line for his 100th parkrun—a brilliant testament to his commitment, consistency, and love for the running community. Well done, Mike!
Also out on the course was Margaret, running alongside her grandson, proving once again that running really is for all generations. Seeing family members running together is always a joy and a reminder that events like these are about so much more than just the miles.
Whether you’re chasing milestones or just enjoying a weekend jog with friends and family, parkrun continues to be a fantastic part of our club’s running life. Here’s to many more Saturday morning celebrations!
